Credit Opportunities Fund
The HC UCITS – Credit Opportunities is a long / short European focused corporate credit strategy. It is actively managed without reference to a benchmark index. The managers aim to produce consistent positive returns with low volatility in all market environments, regardless of interest rate direction or market conditions. Returns stem mostly from capital appreciation and, to a lesser degree, income.
To achieve its goals the Fund applies long, short and paired trading strategies to a concentrated portfolio of leveraged European-centric companies. It invests across the ratings spectrum and employs hedges to dampen volatility.
The Fund predominantly focuses on higher yielding corporate bonds but it has the flexibility to invest throughout a company’s capital structure via a range of investment instruments. The Fund also buys obligations of European countries and their public authorities to modulate its risk exposure. There is no guarantee that the Fund will achieve its investment objective.
